A snag

I need some help. Pamplona is quite expensive, even for the shittiest hostels, during the running of the bulls (whatever festival that is called). Does anyone know any options other than hostels? We're considering a tent or driving from somewhere nearby like San Sebastian.

The issue is that the running of the bulls is at 0800 during the week and the public transportation doesn't arrive until 1000 or 1100.

We were looking for someone in the Jewish community that might host us, but there doesn't seem to be a sizeable Jewish community in Pamplona.

Any ideas?
